Tim Lincecum (acrylic on masonite, 2010). Arthur K. Miller’s portrait of San Francisco Giants pitching superstar Tim Lincecum, the two-time winner of the Cy Young award whose signature pitching position defies the laws of gravity, is showcased in “Rookies & Pros,” the George Krevsky 13th annual Art of Baseball exhibition in San Francisco. Ted Spencer, curator of Cooperstown, N.Y.’s National Baseball Hall of Fame, and Al Rosen, then general manager of the San Francisco Giants, encouraged Miller, a passionate baseball artist, early on. Miller’s paintings have been featured in several one-man shows in Cooperstown. His internationally collected artwork is exhibited at the George Krevsky Gallery, 77 Geary St., San Francisco and OK Harris in New York City. “Rookies & Pros” runs through June 19, Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information: (415) 397-9748 or georgekrevskygallery.com.
