Forest Reverie (48″ x 36″ oil painting on canvas). Holly Van Hart is an internationally exhibited artist known for her abstracted nature paintings. She lives in Silicon Valley and maintains studios in Silicon Valley and New York. Van Hart’s work explores her fascination with the idea of the limitless opportunities in life. Images of abstracted forests, fields, and flowers are used to symbolize abundance and the generation of new life and new ideas. Van Hart has had solo exhibitions at the Triton Museum of Art, UC San Francisco, and Stanford University. Her work is shown in galleries across the United States and has won awards such as the grand prize at the California Statewide Painting Competition and Best of Houzz. Her paintings have been featured in Professional Artist Magazine, Huffington Post, Silicon Valley Talk Art TV and more. Van Hart donates her time to local and global art and nature organizations. But this philanthropic couple see themselves as one with the citizens of Oakland, particularly those who are struggling financially, and they’re leading a campaign to get their “financially blessed” peers to invest in the community like they have by funding city programs to teach kids how to swim.
