A Day in the Life II (oil on line) Fine arts painter Michael Fitzpatrick works and lives in Napa. He graduated from art school in the late 1960s and worked for a large advertising agency in New York City before returning to California to start his own agency in Santa Rosa. He gave up that career in advertising as an art director and agency owner 15 years ago to pursue fine arts painting full time and has built a national following through magazine articles and high placements in national art competitions.
